Not that type of sauce......but the type that you will have deal with on your GCSE exam. Yes, source work forms a large dollop of your examinations and as you will know because you are all dedicated students, it is the basis of paper two.

To help you understand source based questions and provide you with tips on how to answer them a handy booklet has been put together. Giving this booklet a good read through will provide you with the skills you need to answer a major part of your course! Mouldy old dough!

Did you know there was a 'Penicillin Day'? I didn't, and frankly i am impressed! It just shows the impact that Flemming's....er....Florey and Chain's work has had!

This website has a few different activities and some information on penicillin, how it was discovered, how it works, and even tells you how to grow your own mould....if that sort of thing floats ya boat!

Be careful though it is rather Flemmingcentric........does that count as a word?? click the picture and look for yourself!
